You can export details about your places in a CSV (Comma Separated Values), TSV (Tab Separated Values), or PSV (Pipe Separated Values) format.
- Navigate to the Place Set you want to export.
- At the bottom of the Place Set's panel, select the format (CSV, TSV, or PSV) for your export.
- Click Export.
- The file downloads to the folder on your computer you have set up for downloads.
Fields in an export
Each export includes the following fields. Some fields may be empty if the information is not included in the Place.
Field | Description |
Place Name | The name of the Place. |
Trimble Place Id | The unique Trimble Maps identifier for the Place. |
Place Id | Your company’s own identifier (shortcode) for the Place. |
Place Set Name | The name of the Place Set that includes the Place. |
Latitude, Longitude | The coordinates of the Place. (This matches the location of the Place's pin on the map.) |
Street Address, City, State, ZIP, Phone Number, Country | All of the available address and contact information for the Place. |
Comments | Any information included about the Place in the Comments field. |
Site Name | The name of the Site, which is the boundary perimeter around the Place. This name, if any, is assigned in the Site Manager in ContentTools. |
Site Shape Points | The coordinates of the points the user clicked to create the Site, listed in counterclockwise order. The first and last coordinates in the list are connected when the site is drawn. |
Site Gates | Information about each Gate in this format: |GPS coordinates for the location where the gate was placed on the map|Coordinates for where the Gate was "snapped" to the nearest road|Gate Type|Auto Restricted?|Truck Restricted?| Gate Type Values: 0-Entry, 1-Exit, 2-Entry/Exit Auto Restricted/Truck Restricted Values: 0-False, 1-True |
