Trimble Maps deeply values the voices of our customers, and we actively seek your insights to guide the future of our products. We have launched two "Ideas" portals where you can submit suggestions for future product enhancements. The portals include:
- A submission-only portal. You can submit ideas but cannot view or vote on ideas from other customers. This portal does not require a login.
- An invitation-only portal. You can submit ideas, view ideas submitted by other users, and vote on those ideas to help them move forward. This portal requires a login, and you must request access by completing this form.
How to submit ideas
Submission-only portal
- Launch the portal.
- Click the box below Choose a workspace for this idea.
- Select the product that you have an idea for.
- Complete all fields in the Add a new idea form. (See tips for submissions.) Your email address is required in the event that we want to reach out for more information about your idea.
- Click ADD IDEA to submit your idea.
Tips for a good product idea
An idea is more likely to succeed if it:
- Solves for a broad use case reported by many customers.
- Has a large business impact for many customers.
- Aligns with the product's existing capabilities.
- Creates a competitive advantage for customers.
An idea is less likely to succeed if it:
- Has a narrow focus on a problem.
- Is specific to a niche market.
- Solves a one-off or very unusual problem.
- Is nice-to-have but has no business value.
- Is unrelated to the product's existing capabilities.
Invitation-only portal
Once you are invited to join the invitation-only portal, you will be prompted to create a password for future logins. Once logged in, you will see the screen below.
- Click ADD A NEW IDEA to submit a new idea. Follow the instructions above for idea submission.
- View ideas submitted by other customers.
- Click VOTE to help promote other customers' ideas for future product enhancements.
